The travel lottery scam I wrote about is picking up speed here in Sweden. Another wave of phone calls from the Haifa area in Israel hit us and at least one lady was relieved from about 8,000 SEK in "travel taxes" from her VISA card, according to Swedish morning paper GP.

I just also received such a call from +9724900000 on my cell phone in Switzerland. The lady first was very nice and telling me, that I have won a price a flight to Florida. However to collect the price she would need my Visa card number and the expiry date of the card. I told her, that I left my card at home, so she asked for the card of my fried. As she noticed that I will not give her any numbers she got very rude and hung up. To all receiving such a call, be carful not to give any numbers out or you will loose a lot of money.

Yeah, they're more active again. I'm hearing that they've changed the algorith with which to select phone numbers.
