KDE 4.3...
...is a big step forward. Finally things are starting to actually work. Now, if they could only reimplement the CD player functionality in Amarok I'd be even happier. (And to be honest, I'm not sure I like Amarok's new look.)
I'm an IT consultant specialising in SGML, XML, and related standards. Structured documentation for those of you not in the know; something in computers for the others. I'm an avid reader and writer, currently obsessing on Ian Rankin's Rebus novels.
I'm also an erstwhile film projectionist, having worked in cinemas for the past 24 years. I love film technology, especially Dolby sound systems, 70mm projection, and other cool stuff that will soon be as rusty as the Titanic. It's a hobby, all right?
