Weird wine Timeouts
I've had some weird wine timeouots lately. My Windows apps take up to two minutes to start. It could be my recently upgraded Xorg but I'm not sure... Stay tuned.
I'm an IT consultant specialising in SGML, XML, and related standards. Structured documentation for those of you not in the know; something in computers for the others. I'm an avid reader and writer, currently obsessing on Ian Rankin's Rebus novels.
I'm also an erstwhile film projectionist, having worked in cinemas for the past 24 years. I love film technology, especially Dolby sound systems, 70mm projection, and other cool stuff that will soon be as rusty as the Titanic. It's a hobby, all right?
