Korg TR61
I'm sure you'll all be thrilled to know that I bought a Korg TR61 synthesizer and "musical workstation" yesterday, replacing my old and trusty Kawai K4. I've slept about 4 hours, choosing to spend most of the night playing instead.
I'm an IT consultant specialising in SGML, XML, and related standards. Structured documentation for those of you not in the know; something in computers for the others. I'm an avid reader and writer, currently obsessing on Ian Rankin's Rebus novels.
I'm also an erstwhile film projectionist, having worked in cinemas for the past 24 years. I love film technology, especially Dolby sound systems, 70mm projection, and other cool stuff that will soon be as rusty as the Titanic. It's a hobby, all right?
