My rants on SGML, XML, structured documentation, film projection, and other stuff that I'm interested in. Oh, and there'll probably be some Linux, too.

It's Over!
The film festival, that is. I screened 55 feature films in 11 days, some good, many bad, and some just boring. I would like to see the Canadian film C.R.A.Z.Y., though, instead of just screening it and watching bits and pieces. Great music and some very funny moments.
I'm an IT consultant specialising in SGML, XML, and related standards. Structured documentation for those of you not in the know; something in computers for the others. I'm an avid reader and writer, currently obsessing on Ian Rankin's Rebus novels.
I'm also an erstwhile film projectionist, having worked in cinemas for the past 24 years. I love film technology, especially Dolby sound systems, 70mm projection, and other cool stuff that will soon be as rusty as the Titanic. It's a hobby, all right?
